Stratus Communications Honored with 3 International Davey Awards

(West Chester, PA December 1, 2008) Stratus Communications announced today that they earned three awards from the International Davey Awards competition overseen by the International Academy of Visual Arts (IAVA). Stratus earned 3 silver awards in the categories of Home Page, Integrated Campaign and Video/Moving Images.

With over 4,000 entries from across the US and around the world, the Davey Awards honors the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the "Creative Davids" who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than big budgets. Entries are judged to evaluate distinction in creative work. In determining Gold and Silver winners, entries are judged on their merits based on a standard of excellence as determined by the IAVA, considering the category entered.

Through a team effort with The University of the Arts, Stratus was awarded the silver Davey in the Integrated Campaign category. Entrants were required to submit 2-5 pieces of work from 2 different mediums. The submission for the integrated campaign representing The University of the Arts included

A second silver was awarded to stratus communications in the category of Video/Moving Image for a 5 minute marketing feature which debuted on a cylindrical screen in the middle of the Octagon Booth at the 44 th Annual DIA Meeting. The feature presentation utilized flash and video to introduce Octagon's service and technology solutions.

Stratus took home a silver award in the category of Home Page design for their own website www.stratus-communications.com ) the website incorporates an outside the box flash design with the animated look of downtown West Chester, Pennsylvania- the city in which the company is headquartered.
